Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison 2019 added with extra off-road gear

The American car manufacturer has decided to collaborate with American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) on bringing the vigorous pickup various mechanical and aesthetic upgrades.

The most noticeable change in the Colorado is new equipment for its off-road protection, including 5 Boron-steel skid plates installed in the undercarriage and new front and rear bumpers made with more Boron steel.

Besides, the front bumper is also armed with a built-in spot for a winch to enhance the pickup’s capability while the rear one has integrated recovery hook-ups. Especially, the grille appears completely new with rugged lettering instead of the familiar Chevy Bow Tie, earning the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison 2019 a distinctive look.

Speaking of functionality, the ZR2 Bison is equipped with the same set of features used in the current Colorado ZR2, containing the Multimatic DDSV dampers and rear and front locking differentials.

The rugged pickup now gets 31’’ tires, bigger fender flares and 2’’ factory suspension lift, helping to get a pretty more clearance.

Under the hood, the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison 2019 is powered by the same engine as the current Colorado ZR2, consisting of the standard 3.6L V6 mill mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox or an optional 2.8L turbo diesel unit working with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Buyers can get either a crew cab or an extended cab body style with a full factory warranty.
