Chery Auto Philippines held its first-ever Skills Olympics event, highlighting the skills and mechanical know-how of its aftersales service technicians and its partsmen. Beyond that, the event also strengthened the company’s commitment to providing its clients with the best aftersales service.
Chery's first-ever Skills Olympics
According to Chery Auto PH, the competition encourages dealerships to keep their technicians’ skills sharp and up-to-par with global standards. The competition likewise served to promote the “Fix it Right The First Time” program–an initiative that is undoubtedly a huge advantage for the brand’s customers. The event is also a good sign that Chery is investing in the skills and capabilities of its aftersales team.
The competition also made up for a good bit of fun between Chery’s dealership technicians. It also boosted morale among its employees, and it let them experience the spirit of camaraderie through friendly competition.

“With this kind of competition, Chery Auto Philippines wants to highlight the importance of fostering a competitive spirit within its team. Chery would like to continue building on one of the brand’s strengths which is aftersales service. The brand eyes to reaffirm its dedication to setting new standards in aftersales service through programs like the Skills Olympics,” said United Asia Atomotive Group Inc., (UAAGI) Chairman Rommel Sytin.
It not only showcased the skills of Chery's technicians, but it also boosted morale through friendly competition
Of note, UAAGI is the exclusive distributor of Chery cars in the local market. A month ago in December 2023, Chery Auto PH also gave back to the community by holding a huge donation drive which gave food to over 1,000 individuals in the care of various charities.
