BMW has unraveled their 4th-gen model of the BMW X5 with its first images. This time the all-new model came out for public providing us with the overall view of the vehicle though in prototype camouflage. It is clear that the spy shots are part in the plan of the auto brand.

BMW claims the BMW X5 2019 is among the models that experienced diverse tests before the time of production. The crossover underwent a myriad of tests including heat tests of Arjeplog’s zub-zero temperatures and Death Valley, ground tests in Miramas (South of France)’s terrain and Talladega Superspeedway (Alabama, America)’s high banks. Other spy shots also implied testing was done in Nürburgring Nordschliefe (Germany).

From BMW’s spy shots, we can draw some conclusions such as the revised grille that becomes thicker and larger with chrome-finished slats and makes its way to the bumper. Headlights bear a resemblance of the BMW X3 with slim units. Plus, the more angular corona rings which display daytime running lights will come in the all-new BMW X5.

The auto brand has disclosed their plan to offer two new choices for the BMW X5 2019. One is Adaptive M Suspension Professional that may be a high-performance. Another is Integral Active Steering that brings more steering angle when the vehicle runs at lower speeds. They still keep it a secret when it comes to the engine though it is likely the turbodiesel turbocharged, and plug-in hybrid ones will be used.
