Ford Philippines has released its sales figures for 2022. For the said year, the Blue Oval brand sold a total of 24,710 vehicles, which is equivalent to a 24 percent increase over how it performed sales-wise back in 2021. Topping the charts as the brand’s best-selling model last year is the Ranger pickup truck.

A total of 11,396 Ford Ranger units were sold in 2022, to be exact. According to Ford PH, this makes it the second best-selling pickup truck in the local market. What’s more, the sales figure for the Ranger is also a 24 percent increase compared to those in 2021.

Aside from the Ford Ranger, the Ford Everest also did well in terms of sales last year. In fact, a total of 3,534 Everest units were rolled out to buyers.

In the case for both the Ford Ranger and the Ford Everest, Ford PH attributes their strong performance in 2021 to the introduction of their tech-heavy but also adventure-ready next-generation models.

The Ford Territory, in turn, saw total unit sales of 9,269 back in 2021. According to Ford, this represents a year-on-year sales increase of 35 percent. For that reason, it also maintained a strong market share of 51 percent.

Do remember also that Ford PH launches other services that might have helped in making 2021 a stellar year for the automaker. Two examples of this are the FordPass and the FordPass Connect, which allow for easier access to after-sales services and vehicle functionality, respectively.

Ford also held the Ford Island Conquest series of events last year, which helped in highlighting the Ford lineup to more people from various regions of the Philippines. To be more exact, Ford PH says that this test drive event series alone generated 1,200 vehicle reservations.
