As claimed by the manufacturer, the 2019 BMW X4 will share the CLAR underpinnings with the new BMW X3. Hope that this platform will significantly reduce the X4’s weight as the way it did with the X3.

In terms of hardware, it’s highly likely that a 3.0L TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder making 354 hp and 500 Nm of torque will be offered. Interested in diesel powerplant? You can definitely hope for a 2.0L 4-cylinder with 187 hp and 400 Nm or more powerful, a 3.0L 6-cylinder knocking out 261 hp and 620 Nm of peak torque.
