In comparison with the 2017 Elantra introduced in Malaysia earlier this month, the updates of 2018 version is minor. The most noticeable one is that a new SEL variant will replace the previous SE with Popular Equipment Package.
Hyundai reveals that the 2018 Elantra SEL will be priced from $18,850 (₱ 934,166). It features a 7-inch display audio system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. Other outstanding equipment includes a 3.5-inch TFT display in the instrument cluster and rear camera. The Elantra SEL also receives updates furthering safe driving such as blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane change assist.
