Expected to be introduced at 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show next month, the B-segment hatchback from Honda now gets subtle revisions in both exterior and interior.
2018 Honda Jazz
Up front, the Honda Jazz 2018 is decorated by a new front fascia. To be specific, the hatchback receives the “Solid Wing Face” grille design with tapered headlights. Besides, the front bumper looks sharpers and the fog lights are also reshaped.
Alongside the exterior changes, Honda also offers customers a new variant named “Sport”. In fact, this is Europe’s version of the RS; however, it looks sportier thanks to some tweaks such as a new aero splitter at the front bumper as well as a diffuser at the rear combined with outstanding red pinstriping. Notably, the new trim features a new set of 16-inch sleek black alloy wheels.

Inside, while all the seats are highlighted by red stitching, the leather steering wheel and the gear knob are adorned with the orange ones. Stand equipment include heated seats, cruise control, automatic headlights and especially, City-Brake Active safety system. Additionally, touchscreen infotainment system, keyless entry and start, reverse camera, lane departure warning, forward collision warning and traffic sign recognition are available for all trims.

In particular, it’s worth mentioning a new 128-hp 1.5L i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine which is exclusive to the range-topping Dynamic grade. The Japanese automaker says that this engine also meets the Euro 6 emissions standard with an average CO2 emission of 124g/km. The new engine will be mated to a CVT whereas lower variants will come with 100-hp 1.3L i-VTEC 4-cylinder unit, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.

The Honda Jazz 2023 is a discontinued model in Honda Cars Philippines, Inc.'s (HCPI) lineup which used to compete in the hatchback segment. Honda Jazz 2023 Philippines price that ranges from Php 918,000 to Php 1,090,000 through the model's three variants. Powering the Jazz is a 1.5-liter Chain Drive SOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder gasoline engine that is capable of delivering 118 hp and 145 Nm of torque. Only an Earth Dreams Technology Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) is the available transmission option.
Dimensions-wise, the Jazz is 4,035 mm long, 1,694 mm wide, and 1,524 mm high, with ground clearance and wheelbase rated at 150 mm and 2,530 mm, respectively. This Japanese hatchback used to compete against the likes of the Suzuki Swift, Mazda2 Hatchback, and Toyota Yaris.
