The facelifted Honda Jazz 2017 was officially launched at the ongoing 2017 GIIAS yesterday.
In fact, the facelifted Jazz and the RS model were premiered in Indonesia on July 25. However, at this launch, the vehicle made its appearance with a new look. Frankly speaking, we can’t take eyes off of this Jazz. The new RS trim level is finished in White Orchid Pearl and covered by elaborate red, black and gray decals. These stripes decals are present across the side of the hatchback and even run around the roof with a view to showing “Born to Race” theme of Honda at this year’s car event. What’s more, Modulo accessories are also fully equipped.

Let’s take a closer look at this eye-catching hatchback. The Jazz now comes with a revised grille and front bumper, LED headlights along with LED daytime running lights. Particularly, a faux air diffuser at the back, a RS badging on the grille and boot lid in addition to a unique Phoenix Orange and black exterior paint color are exclusive to the latest variant.

Inside, the most noticeable equipment is an 8-inch touchscreen display. As for powerplant, all grades use a 1.5 L SOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder petrol engine churning out 118 hp at 6,600 rpm and a peak torque of 147 Nm at 4,600 rpm. Power is fed to the wheels via a 5-speed manual or a CVT.

The Honda Jazz 2023 is a discontinued model in Honda Cars Philippines, Inc.'s (HCPI) lineup which used to compete in the hatchback segment. Dimensions-wise, the Jazz is 4,035 mm long, 1,694 mm wide, and 1,524 mm high, with ground clearance and wheelbase rated at 150 mm and 2,530 mm, respectively. This Japanese hatchback used to compete against the likes of the Suzuki Swift, Mazda2 Hatchback, and Toyota Yaris.
