Ford PH brings Driving Skills for Life program to Davao

The Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) is a United Nations-recognized training program of Ford with the aim of reinforcing its adherence to road safety as well as broadening drivers’ knowledge of safe driving. So far, this program has taken place at the SMX Convention Center in Davao City under the guidance of Ford PH.

“We’re happy to be bringing Ford’s Driving Skills for Life program to Davao for the very first time to continue helping raise awareness about driver and road safety,” stated EJ Francisco - Assistant Vice President for Communications of Ford PH.

With the attendance of over 200 participants including public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers, Ford drivers, traffic enforcers and even student drivers, the program has provided a multitude of useful driving tips and advice in addition to essential skills for car maintenance and fuel-efficient driving through classroom training. Besides, an actual driving stimulation was also held at SM Lanang to highlight the anti-distracted driving.

Since 2008, with the great assistance of its long-term collaborator Tuason Racing School, the DSFL program has attracted more than 20,000 Pinoy drivers nationwide. Hopefully, Ford will continue carrying out many other practical programs like that.
