2. House Bill 5098
To minimize double parking and limit the obstructions on roads caused by individuals who don't have allotted space for their vehicles, the need for legislation to restrict such measures is needed. Thus, the “Proof of Parking Space Act” is formulated.
In this policy, every motorists or vehicle owners would have to submit a proof of a parking space or garage, for example, before a vehicle is registered by the Land Transportation Office (LTO).
The parking space or the garage should be enough to cater all of the cars that will be registered to an individual. It should not be the sidewalk or a street that is usually driven pass by, or space where it can block or cause intrusions to other motorists as well.
