Nissan Teana 2019 facelift makes its ASEAN debut in Thailand

Nissan definitely won’t back down and let the others take center stage at this year’s consecutive releases held in Thailand as they finally introduce the Nissan Teana 2019 facelift.

The first Nissan Teana was introduced to the Land of Smiles roughly five years ago and it is just fitting that the facelifted midsize, the third-gen D-segment sedan gets reintroduced to the same country. Its ASEAN debut might be three years delayed due to its modification but as the popular saying goes, ‘better late than never.'

Indeed, it is a very promising car as aside from the safety modifications like moving object detection, lane departure warning, and a 360 degree around view monitor, the Nissan Teana 2019 facelift also gets an enhanced V-Motion front grill coupled with headlights that is elongated. The front bumper now sports new fog light bezels making it more muscular. It also showcases its sporty design with its new 2-tone alloy wheels and boomerang-shaped tail lights.

According to the latest car news, to complete 2019 models in the same segment, the Nissan Teana 2019 facelift is armed with a 2.5L QR25DE inline-four engine which is capable of dishing out 175 hp and 234 Nm of torque. Another engine option is a 2.0L MR20DE 4-cylinder unit which can produce 138 hp and 190 Nm of torque.
