All-new Audi RS5 2018 launched in the Philippines

The Audi RS5 2018 is armed with quattro all-wheel drive and powerful twin-turbo powertrains.

PGA - official distributor of Audi in the Philippines has formally introduced the all-new Audi RS5 2018 with impressive power and performance. The launch was announced at an exclusive event taking place in Butamaru Ramen, Ortigas. The Audi RS5 was born to be the newest model in the long lineup of sophisticated-performance vehicles of Audi, armed with quattro all-wheel drive and powerful twin-turbo powertrains.

The new Audi RS5 2018 is developed from the standard A5 coupe but with a sportier body kit, the oval RS exhaust outlets, a larger body, more sizable wheels with bigger tires, extended openings on the bumper, a rear lip spoiler and carbon decor.

Stepping inside, the new car inherits some featured elements from RS design including the black upholstery highlighted by red stitching. Besides, the RS5 also has some unique features for its own like the Alcantara RS seats equipped with upgraded bolstering, the D-cut RS steering wheel and a wrapped-around dashboard.

Besides, it gets some high-level features of the Audi A5 including three-zone climate control, the RS-specific virtual cockpit gauges of Audi, the Bang & Olufsen sound system and the enhanced MMI infotainment system.

As for safety features, the all-new Audi RS5 2018 meets standard with traction control, X airbags, stability control and so on. A new feature added for the RS5 2018 is the Pre-Sense safety function which can predict the possibility of a crash.

The most noticeable thing of the RS5 lies under the hood. It is powered by a 2.0L twin-turbo gasoline V6 mill which is capable of cranking out 444 hp and 600 Nm of torque. As mentioned before, the RS5 is armed with the newest quattro all-wheel-drive system of the carmaker. The system can intelligently and actively deliver the most power to the car’s wheel, works in a conjunction with the suspension to showcase an excellent performance of an Audi RS model.
