Exterior

The most significant design change is the grille. Honda calls it the "diamond grille", which gives the front fascia a more premium-like appeal. It is matched with a new headlight layout with LED daytime running lights (DRLs) updated fog lights with revamped garnishes, and a new bumper, with the rear bumper getting a new garnish design. The base S and mid-spec V get 14-inch wheels (steel for S and alloy for V), while the top-spec variant is fitted with 15-inch RS design alloy wheels.

It comes with new exterior colors like this Electric Lime Metallic

Similar to the Indo-spec Brio, the local units are made available with a new exterior color called Electric Lime Metallic. It is offered in the V and RS Black Top only. The other new colors are Stellar Diamond Pearl (RS and RS Black Top) and Meteoroid Gray Metallic (S, V, and RS). Meanwhile, the carried-over options include Taffeta White, Rallye Red, and Phoenix Orange Pearl.

Interior

The Brio’s interior layout still looks familiar to the outgoing model. It comes standard with a keyless entry system, black fabric seats, manual airconditioning with a digital display, an ECO lamp, folding rear seats with adjustable headrests, a day & night rearview mirror, and a urethane shift knob.

The Brio now has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

For a sportier finish, the Brio RS adds red accents to its black seats instead of grey accents found in the S and V variants. Moreover, the top-spec variant benefits from adjustable headrests for the front seats as the lower-end variants only have fixed headrests.

Tech & Safety

The seven-inch infotainment system is now standard across the range. Excluding the S variant, the said system now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. While all variants are equipped with six speakers, only the RS variants add two tweeters.

In the safety department, the hatchback comes with driver & front passenger airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), rear parking sensors, and an immobilizer. A security alarm is also available in the V and RS variants.

Engine

No changes were made under the hood as the facelifted Honda Brio is still powered by the same 1.2-liter inline-four SOHC i-VTEC gasoline engine capable of generating 89 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque.
