Volkswagen Philippines brought its entry to the fast-growing subcompact crossover market with the T-Cross in May 2021. Despite its competitive features, Volkswagen Philippines still wants to enhance its subcompact crossover entry in its first year in the local market. That said, the infotainment system’s Apple CarPlay connectivity has been upgraded to offer a wireless function.

The updated connectivity is only available on the upgraded option of the top-of-the-line Volkswagen T-Cross SE variant. It will be a huge treat especially for those who love listening to music. This addition can be further enjoyed with the vehicle’s hand gesture and voice command functions, completing the wireless on-the-go experience.

However, Android users still won’t get an Android Auto function. But at least the system offers a Mirror Link that passengers with an Android phone can enjoy via USB connection. The two connectivity functions should help occupants stay connected on the road.

In addition, the upgraded Volkswagen T-Cross SE comes with a new digital Active Info Display (AID) which is said to provide better performance graphics to drivers. It creates a more innovative driving feel as compared to the analog gauges available in lower trims.
