Toyota Motor PH honors dealerships at annual dealer awards

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has held its annual dealer awards which honored the members of its dealership network for its performance in 2023.

At the event, TMP credited its dealership network for its 22nd consecutive triple crown in passenger car sales, commercial vehicle sales, and overall number of vehicles sold. Of note, the company says that it has surpassed the 200,000 vehicle sales milestone in 2023. 

“Last August, we celebrated our 35th year anniversary here together with the Chairman of Toyota Motor Corporation, Mr. Akio Toyoda. While Chairman Toyoda acknowledged the Philippines as among Toyota’s top 10 global markets, he made it very clear that his greatest wish is for Toyota to be number one in the hearts of every Filipino,” said TMP Chairman Alfred V. Ty. 

As shared by Ty, Toyoda says that the company will be able to do this via a change in direction whilst still keeping forward momentum in the automotive industry. “While we must aim high, we must also care deeply - about people, society, the economy, our environment, the future and about creating cars and services that truly bring happiness to all.” 

With regards to dealerships that received major awards at the event, Toyota Balintawak, Inc. was given the “President’s Value Chain Award of Excellence,” while Toyota Marilao Bulacan, Inc. received the “President’s Customer Satisfaction Cup of Excellence.”

Three dealerships also won the “Presidents Award of Excellence.” This includes Toyota Marilao under the large business division, Toyota North EDSA under the medium business division, and Toyota Subic under the small business division. 

Likewise honored during the events night were TMP’s hardworking marketing professionals and service advisors. The best among these individuals was awarded with the Toyota Outstanding Performance in Sales and Service (TOPS).

Here are the winners of the three TOPS categories for 2023: 

1. TOPS Finest Marketing Professional of the Year - Pamela Jaloro Santos of Toyota Valenzuela, Inc.
2. TOPs Finest General Job Service Advisor of the Year - Rodrigo Calimlim Bauzon of Toyota Dagupan
3. TOPS Finest Body and Paint Service Advisor of the Year - Shala Boquirin Suan of Toyota Pasig

According to TMP Vice President for Value Chain and Customer Experience Operations Mike Masamayor, becoming a TOPS awardee is not an easy journey. But thanks to persistence, the winners mentioned above managed to come out on top. 

“It is my earnest hope that you continue to be an inspiration to those around you and remain steadfast in delivering more heart-touching experiences to our customers at the same time,” said Masamayor.
