Recently, some images of the Suzuki Jimny Sierra 2019 and Suzuki Jimny 2019 have been leaked online. Shared by Indian users via a brochure, the set of leaked images discloses the exterior, interior, safety features of the Jimny Sierra and the JDM-spec Suzuki Jimny.
One of the images on the brochure unveils the dissimilarities between the Jimny Sierra and the regular Jimny. The Sierra gets a larger body of extra protective cover surrounding the wheel arches. It also receives bigger tires and a bit different alloy wheels. The two Jimnies both come adorned with a black bumper, projector headlamps, turn indicators and spare wheel placed on the tailgate.

The photos also reveal the interior of the Suzuki Jimny 2019. The dashboard is equipped with a touchscreen which looks like the 7’’ Smartplay setup of the brand. It seems to borrow the A/C system’s controls from the Swift. And the steering wheel also looks relatively identical to the hatchback’s yet it does not have a flat bottom. The Jimny will be introduced in a three-door hardtop form with 4 seats.
The JDM-spec Suzuki Jimny is expected to be armed with a 0.66L R06A petrol powertrain. In the world, the options of the engine are available with a 1.0L K10C, 1.2L K12C petrol and a 1.2L K12B petrol engines. One of the leaked images discloses that at least an automatic gearbox version will be offered to the lineup.
