In terms of size, the new Territory is 50mm longer and 32mm taller than the old model, with the ground clearance and wheelbase increased by 10mm each. The crossover is touring around the country with its more muscular and bolder appearance.
The interior of the new Territory
The Blue Oval company integrated new screens, which are connected in a single housing. It includes a 12-inch digital cluster (7-inch screen for the base model) and a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Another new interior amenity is the addition of a dual-zone climate control function, allowing passengers to choose their preferred temperature separately.
The Territory is on a tour
Under the hood is still the same 1.5-liter EcoBoost (turbocharged) engine as the one in the previous iteration. But the power figures have been increased to produce 158 horsepower and 248 Nm of torque. It is now paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission, replacing the use of a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
