Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) announced the opening of a new dealership in Ormoc City, Leyte. The new Toyota Ormoc, Leyte dealership is the Japanese automaker’s 73rd outlet in the country.
Toyota opened a new dealership in Ormoc, Leyte
Present in the opening ceremony were Ormoc City Mayor Honorable Lucy Marie Torres-Gomez, TMP President Mr. Atsuhiro Okamoto, Toyota Ormoc, Leyte Chairman Mr. Jimmy Yaokasin, and other key TMP representatives.
With a total lot area of 15,000 sqm., the Toyota Ormoc, Leyte dealership is the largest outlet under the Toyota Tacloban Group. It is built with seven service reception areas, two express maintenance bays, one periodic maintenance bay, 14 body and paint bays, and 152 stockyard bays.
The huge lot area also enabled the company to create a spacious showroom capable of displaying up to six cars. Based on the photos from TMP, the showroom is joined by the Vios, Hilux, Innova, and Wigo.

The Toyota Yaris Cross was also present at the opening ceremony. It is a subcompact crossover touted as the brand’s most affordable hybrid car. One of the engine options is a hybrid consisting of a 1.5-liter engine and an electric motor, producing a combined output of 109 horsepower.
In addition, the new dealership also comes with a GR Garage area where customers can buy various original GR merchandise. In the local car lineup, the GR brand is championed by the GR Supra, GR Yaris, and GR86.
