Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) reports that it saw a total of 81,473 units sold for the fiscal year 2023. This period covers April 2023 to March 2024.

With that said, MMPC’s sales record for the last fiscal year is equivalent to an 18.5 percent market share in the local automotive industry. It likewise represents a huge growth of 34 percent compared to fiscal year 2022 which saw a 60,630-unit sales record.
Leading the charge for MMPC for fiscal year 2023 are the Mirage, Xpander, and the L300 commercial vehicle. Specifically, the company sold 26,139 units of the Mirage, 13,101 units of the L300, and 24,178 units of the Xpander seven-seater MPV. It also helped that the company’s Sta. Rosa plant in Laguna can now produce more Complete Knock-Down (CKD).
As a side note, these sales figures were certified by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc., (CAMPI).
As per the company, its success in fiscal year 2023 can be attributed to its successful promotions, strategic marketing campaigns, and the introduction of an all-new model - the 2024 Triton pickup truck.
Several initiatives such as the MMPC 60th anniversary expo and the “All New Triton Go Beyond Limits Tour” also contributed to the company’s successful fiscal year 2023. The latter two, after all, provided an avenue for current and would-be customers to get up close to the brand’s lineup of vehicles.

With all that said, the company closes the fiscal year 2023 on a high note, and with its new President & CEO Ritsu Imaeda, it is looking forward to the fiscal year 2024 with renewed vigor.
