Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) announced that it awarded EastWest as its Number One Bank Partner for 2021. The awarding ceremony was held at The Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club.
Behind Mitsubishi's accomplishments is EastWest
For a short background, East West Banking Corporation (EastWest) is a universal bank catering to the financial needs of mid-sized businesses, consumers, and the mass affluent. Mitsubishi car promos and transactions are possible thanks to the assistance and efforts of the bank.
Present at the event were key officials from MMPC including President and CEO Takeshi Hara and AVP for Sales Finance Emil Navarro. They were joined by EastWest representatives such as First Vice President (FVP) and Head of Secured Lending Jocelyn Legaspin, Auto Loans Sales Head Guy Purugganan, and Auto Loans Sales Head Marissa Bauson, among others.
Mitsubishi and EastWest continue to strengthen their partnership
"We are extremely grateful to receive this recognition from our partner Mitsubishi. This is a testament of our close partnership which we hope to continue for many years to come," said FVP and Head of Secured Lending Jocelyn Legaspi.
With EastWest, MMPC remains competitive in the local market, finishing second in the overall Philippines car sales ranking for the longest time. It offers Filipinos with car models that can be used as their daily driver, namely the Mitsubishi Mirage G4, Mirage hatchback, Xpander, Montero Sport, and Strada.
The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV at the 10th PEVS
MMPC is also offering the Outlander PHEV, which is the company's entry into the growing electrified market. Recently, the automaker showed off the capabilities of the Outlander PHEV at the 10th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS) where the compact crossover can be a backup generator for the home. It is part of the brand's commitment to providing quality vehicles that will enrich the lives of Filipinos.
"I would like to thank EastWest for having confidence in Mitsubishi. We are committed to keep providing quality vehicles to remain a competitive partner of EastWest," said MMPC President and CEO Hara.
