This might be the most luxurious vans on the auto market.
As claimed by Mercedes-Benz, the V-Class Rise will be a convergence of "classic attributes of the V-Class” such as high performance, the versatility, and “an attractive price.”
In the shape of a basic van, the exterior design, actually, is not very outstanding. However, as mentioned above, the manufacturer wants to mainly focus on the car’s versatility, thus it will come in two configurations. Standard models will be a 5-seater while longer models can seat up to 8 people.

Under the bonnet will be either a 2.1-liter four-cylinder or an upgraded 2.1-liter four-cylinder. The first engine can crank out 136 hp and 330 Nm of torque while the latter is able to deliver a higher output of 163 hp and 380 Nm of peak torque. These two engines will work in conjunction with a 7-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual gearbox.

In spite of being a luxury van, the Mercedes V-Class Rise is expected to be sold at a relatively competitive price compared to others rivals in its segment. A price tag of €34,990 (P2.09 million) is indeed “an attractive price” as Mercedes-Benz promised.
The German marque will hold the global reveal of the V-Class Rise at 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show this September.
