As contactless payment continues to grow in the transport sector, AF Payments Inc. partnered with M Lhuillier to provide Beep cardholders with more reloading options.

The partnership allows Beep cardholders to top their cards up in M Lhuillier branches. It aims to make the commuting experiences of Filipinos more convenient as M Lhuillier has over 3,000 branches nationwide.

Present at the partnership signing were key representatives from M Lhuillier including President and CEO Michael L. Lhuillier, Money Transfer Division Manager Cecilia Lumapas, and Business Development and Relationship Manager Niña Gayo. It was also joined by AF Payments Inc. President and CEO Jonathan Juan Moreno.

Beep cards can be used to pay public transportation fares in point-to-point (P2P) buses and transit system lines including the LRT Line 1, LRT Line 2, and MRT Line 3. As the country’s railways will soon be expanded with projects such as the Metro Manila Subway and MRT-7, the partnership should help keep the commuting public moving.

Beep cards are handy in going around cities

While Beep cardholders are in an M Lhuillier branch, they can avail of other services such as Kwarta Padala, quick cash loans, bills payment, insurance, money exchange, ML Wallet, ML Express, ML Moves, and telco and online TV loading services.

“We are delighted to be the newest loading partner of AF Payments, which further aids their commitment to provide Filipino commuters more accessible avenues to top up their Beep cards,” said M Lhuillier President and CEO Michael L. Lhuillier.

“M Lhuillier continues to offer valuable services to our clients. We are consistently working with other companies and organizations as we continue to be the go-to center of Filipino in terms of their financial needs,” added Lhuillier.

While the new partnership benefits mostly the commuting public, the road experience of private motorists was also recently improved as Autosweep will soon accept Easytrip RFID tags along its expressways. San Miguel Corporation (SMC) looks to roll this new system out on January 15 next year.
