Automobili Lamborghini has debuted the limited edition Huracan STJ. This is the last hurrah of the Huracan as well as the brand’s V10 engine before their discontinuation this year.

As mentioned, the Huracan STJ is a limited-edition model with a production limit of just 10 units globally. So to make it all the more special, it gets a special “STJ” designation which stands for Super Trofeo Jota.

Super Trofeo is a tribute to the brand’s one-make championship which was established back in 2009. The word “Jota” meanwhile, refers to the Appendix J of the FIA regulations for racing car specs, as well as the brand’s long-standing tradition of making track-oriented beasts like the Miura SVJ and the Aventador SVJ

In terms of mechanical bits, the Huracan STJ sports a special aerodynamic kit. This is composed of carbon fiber aerodynamic appendages, while its rear wing’s angle was tilted further at a three-degree angle. The latter is touted to increase the vehicle’s aerodynamic load by 10 percent.

Under the hood, the Huracan STJ gets a similar 5.3-liter V10 engine as the Huracan STO. At the most, it can churn out 631 horsepower and 565 Nm of torque. The said engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox sending power to the car’s rear wheels.

Other notable upgrades on the Huracan STJ include racing-derived adjustable shock absorbers, a set of special high-grip Bridgestone Potenza tires, 20-inch single-nut wheels, and two colored livery options.

Available for the Huracan STJ is a combination of Grigio Telesto (gray) bodywork combined with a Nero Noctis (black) roof with Rosso Marks (red) and Bianco Isi (white) details. For this option, its cabin then gets Nero Cosmus (black) Alcantara seats with red contrast stitching. The second option meanwhile, is a Blue Eliadi (blue) body combined with a black roof with red and white details.

While all of that might sound enticing for fans of the Huracan and the Italian carmaker’s V10 mill, pricing details weren’t shared by the brand.

As a side note, the Huracan and the outgoing V10 engine will be replaced by a new vehicle with a hybrid powertrain. No details for this were revealed by Lamborgini just yet, but sources are saying that it might be getting a turbocharged plug-in hybrid setup.
