Kia Philippines is offering an enticing deal that you’ll surely want to check out if you are in the market for a sedan. For a limited time only, the Kia Forte is now available at a discounted price of Php 869,000.

This means that the Kia Forte gets a whopping Php 226,000 cash discount deal. The discounted price tag sits around the price range of subcompact sedans, which are one size smaller than the Forte. To note, the said cash discount deal applies only to the Korean compact sedan’s base LX variant.

The Kia Forte LX comes with exterior features such as project-type halogen headlamps with auto light control, daytime running lights (DRLs), and 16-inch alloy wheels. As for the interior, in-car entertainment is delivered by the standard 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with four speakers.

Under the hood is a 1.6-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline engine capable of generating 126 horsepower and 155 Nm of torque. It is connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission with manual mode. Aiding the drive are safety bits that include driver and front passenger airbags, an anti-lock brake system (ABS), and an ISOFIX child anchor.

To make car ownership more convenient, the Korean marque is offering the Forte with a 5-year or 160,000 km warranty. It also comes with free 24/7 roadside assistance for up to five years, covering emergency towing, personal assistance, minor onsite repair, medical assistance, and information service.

Kia Philippines is inviting interested individuals to take a closer look at the Forte at its bolder-looking outlets that now showcase the brand’s new identity. One of the newest showrooms of the company is at the AC Motors Centrale in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). Kia Forte

The 2023 Kia Forte Philippines is a four-door compact sedan that comes in a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout. In South Korea, it is known as the K3, and the current version sold in the Philippines is the third-generation model that was initially released in 2018. 

Under the hood, the Philippine-spec Forte uses a naturally-aspirated 1.6-liter inline-4 gasoline engine, as well as a turbocharged version of the same engine. For the non-turbo version, it can make up to 126 horsepower and 155 Nm of torque. It then uses a six-speed automatic gearbox. 

The turbocharged variant meanwhile, can produce up to 201 horsepower and 265 Nm of torque. The said engine is then paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox with paddle shifters. 

Size-wise, the forte is 4,640mm long, 1,800mm wide, and 1,450mm in height. It also has a ground clearance of 150mm, and a wheelbase length of 2,700mm. 

Available variants for the Forte in the Philippine market include the Forte LX priced at Php 1,095,000, the Forte EX priced at Php 1,195,000, and the Forte GT Turbo priced at Php 1,650,000. 

In the Philippine market, the Kia Forte competes agaisnt the likes of the Toyota Corolla Altis, Mazda3, Honda Civic, among others.
