Jetour Auto Philippines, Inc. (JAPI) is one of the newest players in the local market. To appeal to Filipino car buyers, the company has rolled out efforts to improve its aftersales programs including investing in comprehensive training for the technical team.
JAPI sent its aftersales team for intensive training in China
The training was held at the Jetour head office in Wuhu, China last May 31 to June 8, 2023. The JAPI technical delegates went through seven days of intensive technical training courses and practical exercises.
“Aftersales is an essential component of any distributorship business,” said JAPI Managing Director Miguelito Jose.
JAPI aims to improve its aftersales programs
Jetour provided training for the air conditioning, transmission, engine, and electronic management systems of models available in the JAPI’s lineup.
Included in the lineup are crossovers including the Jetour Dashing and the 7-seater X70. The latter is also available with a more upscale model called the X70 Plus, coming with amenities such as a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, and a few advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) functions.

The Chinese automaker also provided training for JAPI delegates about the battery electric vehicle technology used in the Ice Cream EV. It is a 3-door hatchback fitted with an all-electric powertrain, offering up to 170 km of range on a single charge.
With the comprehensive training now done, prospective Jetour owners should be assured their vehicles are in the hands of a more competent aftersales team. The aftersales management team will cascade the technical processes and servicing standards to the brand’s 16 dealerships aimed to be inaugurated this year.
