Jetour Auto Philippines has embarked on a two-day journey around the southern outskirts of Metro Manila with the X70, X70 Plus, and Dashing. It was held from September 21 to 22, 2023.
Jetour went on a road trip around the province of Cavite with the X70 and the Dashing
The trip was made possible via a partnership with the Metro Pacific Tollways South Management Corporation, the Department of Tourism, the Department of Interior and Local Government, and the Cavite provincial government.
Joined by 18 influencers and content creators dubbed Ka-Biyaheros, the Jetour crossovers started their trip from the MPT South Hub in Imus. The next destination was Tagaytay and Silang where activities such as food crawl, tours, and coffee art painting sessions were enjoyed by the Ka-Biyaheros.

The trip ended the following day with lunch and a Foccacia-making activity at Café Agapita before heading back to Metro Manila.

The Jetour X70 is a midsize crossover that entered the Philippine market with a Php 1.099 million price tag, which is relatively affordable for a seven-seater of its class. Meanwhile, the X70 Plus is the more premium version of the nameplate, coming with a digital instrument cluster infotainment screens, and a few advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) functions.
The Ka-Biyaheros made the trip possible
The Jetour Dashing is the brand’s flagship model, boasting a bold exterior and a premium-like interior. It runs on a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine good for 154 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque, sending power to the front wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). The company offers the Dashing for Php 1,329,000.

Jetour Auto Philippines also has an electric vehicle (EV) model with the Ice Cream EV that did not make the trip. This cutesy electric hatch is equipped with a 13.9 kWh lithium-ion battery that offers a range of up to 170 km. This EV is priced at Php 699,000 as of its launch.

The Jetour X70 is a seven-seater crossover. In the Philippine market, this model has three different variants with prices ranging from Php 1,099,000 to Php 1,299,000.
Size-wise, the Jetour X70 is 4,720mm long, 1,900mm wide, and 1,695mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,745mm and a ground clearance of 210mm.
Under the hood of the X70 is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that can make up to 156 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to its front wheels via a six-speed automatic gearbox.
Locally, the Jetour X70 competes against the Chery Tiggo 8, Honda CR-V, Geely Okavango, Maxus D90, etc.
Jetour X70 Launch
The Jetour X70 entered the Philippine market in March 2023. Alongside the latter, Jetour Auto Philippines Incorporated also launched the Dashing compact crossover and the Ice Cream EV.
Prices for the X70 as of launch, ranged from Php 1,099,000 to Php 1,499,000.
Jetour X70 Exterior
For the top-spec Jetour X70 Plus, its array of exterior equipment includes LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, and LED taillights. Also present is a shark fin antenna, power-folding side mirrors, a rear wiper, a panoramic sunroof, and a set of 20-inch alloy wheels.
Other trims also get a roof rack for more cargo capacity.
Jetour X70 Interior
Step inside the X70 and you’ll get a modern interior with space for up to seven occupants. All inside are then kept cool by an electric air-conditioning system, and the top model trims get leather-covered seats.
Top-of-the-line variants of the X70 come with electronically adjustable seats. The driver is likewise provided with a 12.3-inch instrument panel, cruise control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, among others.
Technology & Safety Features
On-board entertainment for the X70 is provided by a 10-inch touchscreen. Smartphone linking is done by mirror-link software, Bluetooth, or USB connectivity. The said screen also gets a DVD player and is linked to a six-piece speaker system.
For ease of parking, this Jetour model comes with a rear parking sensor and a reverse camera. Other safety features present in this model are four airbags, anti-lock braking, traction control, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, etc.
Top-spec models of the X70 also come with a lane departure warning system, blind-spot monitoring, and an auto-hold function.
Jetour X70 Chassis
The Jetour X70 uses a MacPherson strut for the front and a multi-link suspension for the rear. Braking is provided by disc brakes for all four wheels and an electronic parking brake.
