The first leg was held last August 24 to 25 at the company’s dealerships in Alabang, EDSA Centris, Fairview, Pasay, and Isabela. Service advisors and technicians were pitted against each other to see who would excel in the brand’s nine standard processes.

These processes include building relationship, service appointment, customer reception, job card preparation, maintenance and repair, quality inspection, vehicle delivery, settlement, and following-up.

The next stops will be in Visayas and Mindanao

The JAPI Aftersales Skills Competition follows JAPI’s initiative to send its aftersales team to China for intensive training from May 31 to June 8, 2023. The delegates went through seven days of technical training and practical exercises regarding the components of Jetour vehicles.

The aftersales programs will also aid the Chinese automaker in providing competent services amid its plan to reach more customers. To do so, the company is looking to establish 16 dealerships by the end of 2023.
