For 2024, the Omoda and Jaecoo booths will be positioned at the SMX Convention Center. The event will span four days, from April 4, 2024, to April 7, 2024.

At the moment, Jaecoo is yet to share which models it will be displaying at 2024 MIAS, but this might include the J7 crossover SUV - the brand’s inaugural model.

In August 2023, the J7 underwent the “Extreme Mileage Challenge” where it traveled through harsh terrain in the Turpan and Dunhuang regions in China, the Nianquing Tanggula Mountains, and the Nujian River. During this journey, the J7 managed to operate in scorching temperatures of 51 degrees Celsius and take on winding countryside roads.

The other Jaecoo model that might appear at 2024 MIAS is the J8. This meanwhile, is touted by the brand as an off-road-oriented SUV. It debuted at the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) in Doha, Qatar, and it promises to mix good handling in harsh terrain and luxurious comfort.

While Jaecoo and its sister brand are yet to officially launch locally, the brand claims that it has already experienced rapid growth in other markets like Eastern Europe, South Africa, and Saudi Arabia. Jaecoo added that it went from “nothing to something” in just eight months in 2023.

In the local setting meanwhile, Jaecoo and Omoda have already secured the interest of several potential dealer partners. This includes Autohub, Albert Go Group, Berjaya Group, Image Cars, Bonifacio Motors, Evolve Group, GR8 Motors, AngCore Group, AutoIcon, and AVB Motorhub. It likewise managed to get the support of 15 banking entities in preparation for its eventual brand launch here in the Philippines.
