Globally, the Nissan Kicks 2019 offers 2 options for the engine which are the HR16DE 1.6L or HR15 1.5L petrol engines. In the flip side, the Indian version emulates the Renault to have two other powertrain choices including the 1.5L K9K dCi diesel and 1.5L H4K petrol units. To be specific, the K9K cranks out 110PS/240Nm while the H4K is good for 106 PS/142 Nm. The diesel is hoped to go with a six-speed manual transmission. On the other hand, the petrol engine may be channeled to a five-speed manual transmission. At the moment, the model will not come with All-Wheel-Drive just yet.
According to Indian Auto Blog, the Indian Kicks is likely to officially debut some time at the end of 2018 before available at dealerships in 2019. The premium Kicks is seen to go head to head with the Suzuki S-Cross and the Hyundai Creta.
