Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai trucks and buses in the Philippines, successfully turned over 15 units of HD50S Modern PUV Class 3 to Magnificat Transport Cooperative in Bacoor, Cavite. The transport group aims to provide the commuting public with a safe and environmentally-friendly transport system.
This is not, however, the first time HARI made efforts for transport modernization in Cavite. The Korean carmaker also delivered the first batch of 120 units of HD50 Class 2 Modern Jeepney to Gardenia Kapit-Bisig in Bacoor, Cavite.

Present in the turnover ceremony were key officials from the local government and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), headed by Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla, and LTFRB Region 4 Director Col. Renwick. Mayor Revilla shared that the modern PUV campaign is “truly the call of the times in the new normal” and hopes that more transport groups will support the campaign.
The HD50S Modern PUV Class 3 offers convenience on the go for the commuters in Cavite. It comes with a roof-mounted air conditioning, Wi-Fi router, GPS tracker, CCTV cameras, 7-inch monitor, and a speed limit warning buzzer for safety.

Comfort and convenience for commuters in Cavite
A total of 22 passengers can fit in the HD50S Modern PUV Class 3 thanks to its wheelbase that spans 3,415 mm in length. Powering the Modern jeepney is a 2.9-liter Euro-4 compliant CRDi engine that provides transport groups better fuel efficiency and cleaner emissions.
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) granted the HD50S Modern PUV Class 3 a Certificate of Compliance (COC) last year following the COC received for the H-100 Modern PUV Class and HD50S Modern PUV Class 2 in 2019. The HD50S Modern PUV Class 3 is set to help the government and the nation for a greener and more sustainable future.
