This light duty model is exempted from the MMDA's truck ban.

If you are looking for a commercial vehicle (CV), Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the authorized distributor of Hyundai Trucks and Buses in the country, got you covered as it shared five reasons for you to consider the HD45 GT.

The company said that the Hyundai HD45 GT is “highly customizable”, allowing the truck to cater to different demands in the local CV market. Available in either Medium Wheelbase (MWB) or Long Wheelbase (LWB) variants, the vehicle can be transformed to haul food, medicine, fresh farm produce, and light construction material, among others.

Next on the list is the “driver-friendly” aspect of the truck. Inside, the HD45 GT comes with an airconditioned cabin, adjustable ergonomic seats, and storage compartments for vehicle documents, maps, water bottles, and hand sanitizers. Moreover, the enlarged door-open angle makes it easier to ingress and egress.

The third reason Hyundai pointed out is that the truck is “safe and durable.” For the HD45 GT, control on the road is maintained via its anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD). This truck model also has a reverse sensor that aids drivers when backing up.

As for durability, the Korean brand said that the truck is “made with a rigid, rust-resistant high-strength frame that can withstand heavy load and the rigors of travel.”

Fourth on the list is “dependable”, which is made possible by the use of a 2.9-liter CRDi turbodiesel engine good for 158 horsepower and 392 Nm of torque. According to the brand, its engine can allow drivers to tackle long distances and uphill routes “without missing a beat.”

The last but not the least, the Hyundai HD45 GT is “cost and time efficient.” HARI is offering the truck a 3-year or 200,000 km warranty (whichever comes first). With a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 4,490 kg, the light-duty truck is exempted from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority’s (MMDA) truck ban, allowing entrepreneurs to keep their businesses moving.
