Hot news comes to Ford fans in the Philippines! Ford PH has made an announcement that it would make significant changes in its ownership cost structure applying for the 3 main and most popular models: the EcoSport, Ranger and Everest. This announcement is issued by the President of Ford Phillippines - Mr. Bert Lessard at the meeting with the press. Accordingly, the company will establish a uniform structure for its preventive Ford maintenance price in the Philippines.

The new structure includes basic maintenance services over a regular service period also called “tune up” such as sparkplug change, oil changes and other services under regular inspection. Additionally, Ford also informs that it will reduce the cost of these basic services and the components needed.
In detail, over a period of 5 years, the Ford Ranger’s basic preventive maintenance prices will drop by 15 percent. The Everest’s cost will reduce by 18 percent and that of the EcoSport will decrease by 20 percent.
Still, Ford hasn’t fully released these prices but the company says that the new structure will be applied to all dealerships across the country. The Blue Oval also emphasized that the interval for servicing will be 6 months. That means Ford customers just need to come to the maintenance centers of the company twice per year while other brand’s clients have to do so at least 4 times per year.
The campaign is part of Ford's effort to decrease the maintenance as well as ownership’s cost of the three major and best-selling models on the market and also to strengthen brand’s reputation in terms of maintenance.

It is also worth noting that Ford is advertising its Prepaid Scheduling Service which allows customers to pay their all of basic maintenance services in advance for a maximum of five years. The plan will help the car maintenance of customers come more easily and can be also included in the vehicle’s cost.
Moreover, Ford says that the exchange rate tends to change. This is considered as a mean of protection against depreciation because all the basic maintenance services have been paid in advance.
