DOTr to waive Php 20 toll fee from Skyway to NAIAX for 1 month
In a recent meeting, SMC President, Department of Transporation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade and Chief Operating Officer Ramon S. Ang agreed to defer the said toll fee as the DOTr and many different companies and concessionaries are working to expand the Skyway and NAIAX to make room for more cars.
With this in mind and to alleviate traffic congestion, as well as to make more connected, more seamless and more efficient travel, SMC has teamed up with the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) to completely integrate the collection systems for the Skyway and NAIAX to make the one-stop collection possible.
Arthur Tugade as quoted as saying: “In one month, there will be a one-stop collection system in the Skyway-NAIAX section. We want our toll systems to be interoperable to achieve our ultimate goal of providing our motorists seamless travel along our expressways.”

SMC Infrastructure estimated that the average daily traffic volume for NAIAX is around 70,000 cars.
