DOTr opens 2 exit ramps on NLEX to curb traffic in Meycauayan

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) opens 2 new exit ramps namely the Libtong and Pandayan exits in hopes of decongesting traffic along the expressway.
DOTr has announced that they have approved the opening of the Libtong and Pandayan exits along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX). These two additional exit ramps are expected to make travel to Meycauayan City using the NLEX more convenient.

Early this year, the NLEX Corporation has begun the construction of the Php 31.5-million exit ramps projects as part its continuing enhancement program to offer adequate quality service to expressway users. The exit ramps are seen to reduce vehicular buildup that usually occurs at the Meycauayan Interchange.

People can use the Libtong and Pandyan exit ramps from July 6. Rodrigo Franco, President of NLEX Corp also revealed that the company has undertaken more traffic improvement measures to decongest traffic along the expressway.

Congresswoman Linabelle Villarica cited the role of DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade during her speech for enabling the traffic improvement program in Meycauayan.
