As a part of the expansion plan, new partners will support the brand’s campaign in the Philippine market. These include Autohub Group, Diamond Motors, Hino Parts, Autoflare, and Dreamcar Unlimited.

The brand’s electrified lineup was also showcased at the dealer conference. This consists of vehicles like the Nanobox, Forthing Friday, and Aeolus Huge.

The Nanobox is an all-electric mini crossover that competes against the likes of the Jetour Ice Cream EV. With a price of Php 888,000, the electric vehicle (EV) offers a range of 351 km – which is almost 200 km more than the Ice Cream EV. Like its rival, the Nanobox is said to be the ideal choice for urban dwellers thanks to its compact size.

Meanwhile, the Forthing Friday is the brand’s other entry into the growing EV market. For Php 2,580,000, you get an EV that can run 630 km on a single charge. That range figure beats mainstream rivals such as the Hyundai Ioniq 6 – which offers a range of 545 km. The Forthing Friday also has a more affordable variant with the 430-km range priced at Php 1,980,000.

As for the Aeolus Huge, the crossover is bringing a hybrid powertrain – which is ideal for those who want to bridge the gap to EVs. More specifically, the model is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with an electric motor, producing a combined output of around 245 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque.

“As the company moves forward, it is expected to bring innovation, choice, and a renewed sense of excitement to the local automotive landscape,” said Dongfeng in a press release.
