Chevrolet Sonic to come around as a 2019MY

A few months ago, rumors start circulating that the Chevrolet Sonic’s production could come to an end in early this year. According to Mr. Nick Jaynes Morgan - Chevrolet spokesman, the Sonic will continue to be sold to both fleet and retail clients as a 2019 model year. 

Still, detailed information about the Chevrolet Sonic 2019 hasn’t been revealed but Chevy sent an ordering guide to its network of dealers with no significant changes in both sedan and hatchback body types. Besides, the Chevrolet Impala was also rumored to be phased out but there is no official confirmation from the spokesman for this.

Still, detailed information about the Chevrolet Sonic 2019 hasn’t been revealed 

If the Sonic and Impala can keep their position in the brand’s lineup, this seems to be a wise move of Chevy when the Blue Oval has planned to retire the Taurus and the Fiesta. Then Chevy might see it as a good chance to offer buyers an alternative to either of the 2 Ford models.

The series of the retirement of many cars are claimed to be due to the declining sales as an influence of the SUV and crossover boom which shows no sign of attenuation in the predictable future.
