Bosch received a significant contribution for its youth education campaign

This campaign is called the Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Philippines (Bosch AA) #CareForEducation campaign, which is being undertaken in partnership with Teach for the Philippines (TFP). It was rolled out last December 2022 and has been gaining support from the local community since then.

The contribution of Warren Automotive Company, Bosch AA’s reigning Dealer of the Year, will go a long way in Bosch Philippines’s commitment to enriching youth education. According to the company, it has already successfully raised 45 percent of its target funding amount.

“We are thrilled to receive this contribution from Warren Automotive Company, which will help increase our efforts to provide quality education to children in need and boost literacy rates, especially in rural areas,” said Bosch Philippines Managing Director Paulo Duarte.

“We wouldn’t be able to do our work without champions like Bosch AA. We are immensely grateful to them for connecting us with Warren Automotive Company, and enabling us to receive this generous donation from them,” said Incoming TFP CEO Mavie Almeda Ungco.

To recap, the #CareForEducation campaign comprises two programs, namely the Functional Literacy Program (FLP) and the Batang Bayani Program (BBP). These programs are said to be dedicated to 700 students and 500 parents of the students.

Bosch will reach out to more SEA countries

The FLP provides early-grade intervention for reading and math, while the BBP is driven to encourage children to practice positive behavior toward learning at home.

Bosch has plans to expand the campaign to reach more people. Southeast Asian neighbors Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam are part of the target countries, where the company is looking to roll out initiatives focusing on road safety, children’s health, and clean air, respectively.

Individuals who are interested in supporting the #CareForEducation campaign are encouraged to contribute on TFP’s official website.
