The Ateneo Blue Eagles 3x3 basketball team of Ateneo de Manila University has chosen Volkswagen as its official mobility partner.

Moving forward, the men's and women’s divisions of the Ateneo Blue Eagles will be using the T-Cross subcompact crossover and the Lamando executive sedan to go to games held under the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 86 3x3 Basketball Tournament.

Ateneo Athletic Direct Emmanuel Fernandez also thanks Volkswagen PH for its support. He mentioned that driving to and from UAAP games comfortably and reliably will provide the Ateneo Blue Eagles with added confidence to fuel them for this new UAAP 3x3 Basketball season.
Of note, the Volkswagen T-Cross is a stylish-looking subcompact crossover with ample space for up to five occupants. Inside, it provides a 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, rear air-conditioning vents, and USB-C ports for its rear cabin.
Under the hood of the T-Cross is a 1.5-liter engine MPI BlueMotion gasoline engine that can generate up to 111 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque.
At present, the T-Cross 180 MPI AT SE is priced at Php 1,340,000.
The Lamando meanwhile, sports a spacious interior with leather seats and a Climatronic dual-zone air-conditioning system. It also boasts features like adaptive cruise control, and a panoramic sunroof, among other amenities.

Propelling the Lamando is a 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with a seven-speed direct-shift gearbox. This powertrain can generate up to 147 hp and 250 Nm at maximum.
The Lamdano currently has a price ranging from Php 1,619,000 to Php 1,753,000.
All Volkswagen PH models come with a three-year or 100,000 km vehicle warranty. It is also packaged with a once-a-year periodic maintenance service package and a free one-year 24/7 emergency roadside package.
