Astara PH aims to continue growth with new leadership appointments

Astara Philippines, the exclusive distributor of Peugeot and GAC Motor vehicles in the local market, aims to continue the company’s sales growth and expansion with new leadership appointments.

Franz Decloedt, who is the former Marketing Director of Astara PH, has been appointed as the new Brand Head of GAC Motor. He is now in charge of GAC Motor’s brand operations, which involves overseeing strategic sales and marketing initiatives that are geared to contribute to the brand’s continued success.  

GAC Motor seems to be riding on a positive momentum as the company recently announced that it has achieved a 276 percent year-over-year sales growth from January to July 2023. GAC Motor has sold 825 units so far this year, which the brand considers as a good sign ever since Astara PH took over the management role for GAC Motor last 2022.

Astara PH is also pleased to welcome motoring industry veteran Timmy Naval-de Leon as the company’s new Marketing Director. She has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and corporate communications. With her new role, she is poised to drive strategic marketing direction and brand-building efforts for all automotive brands distributed by Astara PH.

Peugeot is targeting to expand its market reach in the Philippines

Astara PH is determined to further expand its market reach by opening new dealerships under the Peugeot and GAC Motor brands. Peugeot is targeting to have a total of 18 dealerships by the end of this year as revealed by the brand last January 2023. GAC Motor, on the other hand, previously said that it intends to have a total of 20 dealerships by the end of 2023.
