Toyota Philippines has yet to release the official specs of the 2024 Wigo. But a quick peek into neighboring ASEAN countries that offer the said subcompact hatchback can give us an idea of what to expect. Firstly, the all-new Wigo will come with a new unibody platform called the Daihatsu New Global Architecture A (DNGA-A), which also underpins the next-generation Avanza and Raize.

The all-new Toyota Wigo has also grown in size as compared to its outgoing PH-spec model. It’s now 100mm longer and 65mm wider. In terms of what lies under the hood, the Wigo could be offered with either a 1.0-liter or a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine.

The 1.2-liter engine, on the other hand, puts out 88 hp and 112 Nm of torque, which is the power unit that’s equipped on Indonesian-spec Wigo that’s marketed as the Agya.
