The accolades start off with the top honor in the ‘Transportation’ category at the annual Good Design Awards for 2021. It recognized the Kia Carnival’s bold and elegant design which can be seen from the tiger-nose grille up front to the full-width LED taillights at the back. The Kia EV6 has also received the same prestigious award.

“Securing these Good Design awards is an endorsement of the approach we took with the styling of the Kia EV6 and Kia Carnival,” said Kia Design Center Head Karim Habib. “We are determined to ensure Kia keeps challenging the boundaries of automotive design.”

Highlighting the Kia Carnival’s capability to protect occupants is the Top Safety Pick Award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). To qualify for the award, models must earn high safety ratings in different criteria, which the minivan managed to ace, receiving acclaim for its crash avoidance and mitigation systems.

Here is the list of other global awards the all-new Kia Carnival secured:

  • 2022 Family Vehicle of the Year by AutoGuide
  • Best New Cars for 2022 by AutoTrader
  • Best Minivan by Newsweek Autos Awards

Locally, the Kia Carnival is available at a price that ranges from Php 2,540,000 to Php 2,988,000, excluding paint options. With the said global awards, Kia Philippines got a boost in showcasing the design and capabilities of its new fourth-generation minivan t Filipino car buyers.
