The next-generation Ford Territory made its official Philippine debut at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) last April. It comes with a revamped exterior and interior as well as a more powerful 1.5-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Ford Philippines offers the next-gen Territory in two variants. The Titanium trim is priced at Php 1,335,000 while the top-spec Titanium X retails at Php 1,599,000.
The two 2023 Ford Territory variants are almost similar to one another when it comes to specs. What makes the Titanium X stand out is the addition of the following features: a hands-free power tailgate, panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats.
The 2023 Ford Territory Titanium X also comes with exclusive features such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, autonomous braking, collision mitigation, and lane keep assist.
Overall, the two Territory variants look almost the same when it comes to their exterior and interior design. It now comes with a new large hexagonal grille design as well as restyled daytime running lights. The front bumper is bolder as compared to the old Territory.
The Territory comes with a revamped side profile
The side profile comes with a new finish as well. Prominent wheel arches can be seen, which are emphasized by the black cladding. The wheels also come with a new design. The Territory Titanium X has 19-inch wheels while the Titanium variant is fitted with an 18-inch set. The alloy wheel design of each Territory variant is also slightly different. It is also only the stark difference between the two trims as the rest of the exterior package is identical.
It comes with new LED taillights
The rear of the new Ford Territory also gets a design update. It has a cleaner and sort of toned-down demeanor as compared to the old Territory. The LED taillights are simpler yet distinctive while the Territory emblem is placed more nicely.
Hop inside the five-seater Ford Territory and you’ll be greeted with a new cabin layout. It comes with a more straightforward cabin that offers a more organized and clutter-free dashboard. The unified screen dominated, composed of the digital instrument cluster as well as the touchscreen infotainment system, dominate the front cabin.

The 2023 Ford Territory also has seamless aircon vents, which adds to the vehicle’s clean cabin layout. Ford also bid goodbye to the lever-type gear shifter, and replaced it with an electronic knob-type shifter.
The vehicle also has leather seats with a 10-way power adjustment for the driver and a 4-way manual for the front passenger. The Titanium X kicks up a notch by having ventilated front seats.
2023 Ford Territory Titanium X trim
Under the hood is the same 1.5-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine, but its power output rating has increased. It now delivers 158 hp (+17 hp) and 248 Nm of torque (+23 Nm). Aside from a more powerful output rating, the 2023 Ford Territory comes with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission as compared to the continuously variable transmission (CVT) that’s fitted to the outgoing model.

The next-generation Ford Territory was formally launched at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show. It comes in two variants, the Titanium X and the Titanium. During its initial introduction, its prices range from Php 1,335,000 to Php 1,599,000.
Ford Territory Exterior
The Territory features a modern design that’s equipment for convenience and ease of use. Standard on this Ford model is a pair of LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, and LED taillights.
Likewise present on the Territory are power-folding side mirrors, a rear spoiler, roof rails, and front fog lamps. Depending on the trim, likewise present are puddle lamps, a panoramic moonroof, and a hands-free tailgate.
Ford Territory Interior
The Territory can seat up to five occupants. It gets leather seating, a digital gauge cluster, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, a push-to-start button, a tilt and telescopic steering column, a 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat, and a 60:40 split-folding second row.
Available for the top-spec Titanium X specifically is a PM 2.5 air monitor and ionizer, and a package tray. Also exclusive to the top-spec trim is a ventilation system for the driver’s seat.
Technology & Safety Features
Standard on the Territory is a 12-inch touchscreen headunit with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. On the Titanium X, the said headunit has eight speakers. The Titanium meanwhile has six. Both trims come fitted with a wireless smartphone charger, a 12-volt auxiliary outlet, and USB ports.
Safety for the Territory is handled by six airbags, parking sensors, hill launch and descent control, anti-lock braking, stability control, traction control, a car alarm, an engine immobilizer, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
Both trims also get blind spot monitoring, an active park assist, a 360-degree camera, and tire pressure monitoring. Only the Titanium X is fitted with adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep aid, collision mitigation, forward collision warning, etc.
Platform & Chassis
The Ford Territory is classed as a compact crossover SUV. It comes in a 5-door, 5-seater body style, and it uses a MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension.
Braking for this Ford model is then handled by disc brakes for all four wheels and an electronic parking brake.
