The fifth-generation Honda City is longer and wider by its predecessor. In fact, the new City is 113mm longer and 53mm wider as compared to the old model. On the other hand, the 2021 Honda City is shorter by 10mm in terms of height and its ground clearance decreased by 16mm.

The 2021 Honda City

The 2021 City’s front fascia is much sleeker than before. Its grille is slimmer while the new wraparound LED headlamps and LED taillamps provide a more futuristic design. If you look at it, the front end of this subcompact sedan shares a bit of similarity to its bigger sibling, the current Honda Civic.

The new City also resembles the current Civic quite a bit more than the old one ever did. This might be a reflection of Honda’s efforts to consolidate its design language.

Of note, the 2021 City comes with an RS variant that is fitted with sportier kits and design. The RS variant gets full LED headlights, LED fog lamps, a more prominent fog light garnish, a glossy black mesh grille, and a sporty bumper.

The rear, on the other hand, is equipped with LED taillights. The 2021 Honda City RS comes exclusively with a lip spoiler and diffuser for that added sporty appeal. Honda’s subcompact sedan is finished off with a set of either 16- or 15-inch aluminum-alloy wheels depending on the variant.

The interior of the 2021 Honda City looks more symmetrical now. Sure, the old one’s driver-facing touchscreen and asymmetrical air-vents looked driver-oriented, but the new dashboard is just better arranged.

The 2021 Honda City has a dark cabin theme. It has redesigned aircon vents as well as new climate control buttons. Almost all of the variants of this subcompact sedan is integrated with an 8-inch infotainment system that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
