You should put the fresh oil before leaving your car in storage.

You should remove all the used oil since it contains moisture and impurities, which will have a potential corrosive effect on the engine. It’s recommended that you should put the fresh one before leaving your car in storage. And it’s best to drive a few miles after that for the new oil to come in contact with the engine.

If you are not sure about what type of oil to use, consult with a technical expert about that.

2. Fill up the tank with premium fuel
One of the common problems with the fuel tank is that its inside wall may start rusting over time if the fuel is not full up to the rim. Thus, it is necessary to fill up the tank.

The recommended fuel is the quality, alcohol-free type.

For cars consuming petrol, as petrol can be easily steamed out or leaves condensed dregs in the tank, you have to add the fuel stabilizers (these substances are usually used for grasscutters or the garden machinery).

After filling up your tank, make sure the tank is closed properly to prevent penetration of contaminants.

3. Pump tires in a suitable pressure
If you maintain your car in the cold weather, the tires should be properly inflated. Too much pressure can cause cracks and tire blowout while too little can cause flat spots. Pressure in the tires should be rechecked when u reuse the car in the first 16 kilometers.
