Suzuki showcases its 2017 S-Cross facelift at Shanghai Auto Show

Unveiled at Paris Auto Show last year, now the facelifted 2017 S-cross has been shown off in Shanghai.
This new Suzuki crossover has a distinctive design, especially when compared with other Suzuki models.

Up front, the chrome grille is larger with vertical slats, new LED projector headlamps are decorated with chrome details. The front bumper is also refreshed with a bigger radiator grille and new fog lamps.

The rear gets minor cosmetic tweaks. The only one we notice instantly is that the taillight is integrated with the updated LED lighting technology.

A new 7-inch touchscreen is the most outstanding feature in the cabin. Besides, some up-to-date devices such as the front and rear parking sensors, reverse camera, cruise control, six airbags, traction control system (TCS) and the electronic stabilitty program (ESP) are also available in this refreshed S-Cross.

In terms of engine, Suzuki will continue to offer the K14C 1.4L turbocharged four-cylinder engine which delivers 138.07hp and 220 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. Apart from this option, customers may consider the K16B 1.6L N/A 4-cyl engine with 122 hp and 158 Nm of torque coupled with a 5-speed manual or CVT.

The Japanese carmaker will provide two models of the 2017 S-Cross with an AWD system as standard.
