I. What car comfort features should be considered?

Car comfort isn’t something to set aside because it makes all the difference that equates to easy travel without suffering any discomfort. Let’s take for example a sub-compact that has no electric side view mirror, to illustrate the point! If it were electric; no need to open the window and fidget with the mirror, then close the window.

It can’t get any worse when simple tasks that can be controlled from the inside are lacking! It doesn’t mean laziness, but it keeps the driver’s mind at ease, having the basic and premium comfort features.

Some would hire chauffeurs and just lounge in the comfort of the rear seat. Try sitting in a sub-compact with bare features, those who experienced the best car comfort features would wish the torture to end. Even if the car has a soft ride; that won’t matter if the occupants are uncomfortable.

1. Air-conditioning system

Nothing is worse than riding a car with a “piddly” AC, with sweat slicking on the brow. Most cars sold advertise “good AC systems” but when the going gets tough, boom the AC is not good enough. The best AC is set up in most Nissan, Mitsubishi cars, Kia, Mazda, Ford and more premium Toyota cars which can easily be found in Cars for sale section on Philkotse.

Dual Zone

An AC with dual controls for the front and back of the car on the dash. This allows two zones with differing coldness, not the ones found on base models. The right and left sides are both adjustable for better airflow. Dual zone AC come standard with some brands, but others keep it as an option.

Three Zone

The AC is split into three quadrants for improved cooling over a dual zone. Separate cooling options for the driver, front passenger, and the back seat to adjust the AC. A rear control is found in the back for the passengers to adjust. It is usually equipped with minivans, SUV, and crossover but rarely or not in sub-compact cars.

Four Zone

This provides individual AC cooling for those in front and the ones in the back. A bonus for the fifth passenger is a vent that is found on the roof of the cabin. Get this feature on much larger SUVs and mid-sized cars or hatchbacks for improved cooling coverage.

Power seats

Who wouldn’t want to sit on a chair that has many options for adjustment? Most seats would recline with lumbar support only, nothing more. Power seats can even be programmed to your setting and no more adjustment. Another feature of power seats is that it can be heated, sitting on a chilly chair is not cool.

3. Pockets and Cup holders

What if cars don’t have pockets and cup holders installed, where would stuff be placed? Pockets and cup holders are placed in strategic places inside the cabin.

Pockets are used to insert papers or any item that can fit in it. In some cars, a pocket can be found atop the glove compartment which is the biggest pocket inside the cabin. Another pocket holds glasses or personal items that the driver needs, usually found near the middle of the roof.
