Despite being around for quite a while now, the Hyundai Accent’s latest generation model is still a fresh addition on our roads with its fluidic shaped exterior which Hyundai has given all their modern vehicles available nowadays.
Under the hood, the new Accent is powered either by a 1.4-liter petrol engine that can make up to 98 hp and 132 Nm of torque and the more powerful 1.6 liter CRDi diesel which can make 126 hp and 260 Nm of torque. Inside the 2020 Accent, five adult passengers are made comfortable by an air conditioner with rear vents and are kept safe with driver airbags, front passenger airbags, side airbags, and crash sensors.
As for competition, the Hyundai Accent shares its market segment with the likes including Toyota Vios, Kia Soluto, Honda City and Mitsubishi Mirage G4.
The Philippine version of the Hyundai Accent comes in these variants:
- Hyundai Accent 1.6 CRDI GL MT
- Hyundai Accent 1.6 CRDI GL AT
- Hyundai Accent 1.4 GL MT
- Hyundai Accent 1.4 GL AT
- Hyundai Accent 1.4 GL MT W/O Airbags

Unlike most of the cars that are getting updates in 2021, there are few to no rumors about a probable next-gen Accent.
