Peugeot has released their all-new 508 sedan which earns a crisp design in the exterior. Up to now, a new body style has been adopted by the French auto brand and a station wagon version of the Peugeot 508 is due to be out in the near future. This Peugeot 508 wagon will emulate quite lots from its sedan peer from the exterior design but adds a hatch and elongated roof. It’s a-bit-jutted nose also takes roots from the sedan.
Speaking of the interior, the Peugeot 508 SW 2019 takes Peugeot’s i-Cockpit which features the same 12.3-inch dashboard and steering wheel as the sedan version. The 3D navigation, Mirrorlink, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay are all displayed on a 10-inch mounted touchscreen.

In terms of safety, coming in the Peugeot 508 SW 2019 are promising features consisting of blind-spot monitoring, sign recognition, auto high beams, lane keep assist, auto emergency braking, parking assist, adaptive cruise control, and an infrared thermal imaging night vision system.
Also taking the 1.6L gas engine, it is capable of putting out either 222 HP or 177 HP. And with this equipment, the station wagon will only avail the option of an 8-speed automatic transmission. On the other hand, with options of diesel engines (1.5L, 2L, 2.5L), the wagon can reach 128 HP, 158 HP, and 177 HP respectively. Plus the 6-speed manual only comes compatible with the 128-HP powertrain. It is due that by the end of 2019, the brand will have let their gas plug-in hybrid 508 station wagon out on sale.
