Finally coming out after 3 years of yearning, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan 2018 is claimed by the British carmaker to be an all-terrain car. The first Rolls-Royce SUV is aimed at drawing the attention of wealthy customers and other younger high-net-worth owners with its practicality, luxury, and being powerful.
The Cullinan is also the first Rolls to ever receive an opening hatch named The Clasp which repositions the luggage onto the exterior, hence provides more space for the occupants. The cabin features a significant capacity of 560 liters (19.77 cubic feet) for the cargo. The cargo room even stretches up to 1,930 liters (68.15 cubic feet) when the rear seats are folded.
The Cullinan comes out for the American Market with a starting price of $325,000 (~PHP18.6m)
When it comes to the rear seats, the Lounge Seat layout with a traditional but electrically folded bench-style seat offers room for 3 passengers. On the other hand, the Individual Seat combined of 2 separate chairs with a massive center console in between integrating a drink cabinet.

The driver’s seat offers a heavenly place for the wheel taker with a ventilation and heating system. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan 2018 even comes equipped with the latest gen instrument cluster while the touch-sensitive dashboard takes the central position. The control can be taken over the infotainment system via the center console by the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy controller.

The assist and safety system comes perfectly fit with other luxurious features. Besides a night vision system, the assist and safety system comes standard with WiFi hotspot, lane change warnings, lane departure, cross-traffic warning, collision warning, helicopter view, all-round visibility, panoramic 4-camera view system, etc. The leading technologies are added with a wireless charger for the front passenger and 5 USB ports are available for charging electronic devices.
Being base on the Architecture of Luxury all-aluminum platform, the SUV emulates much of the Phantom. The body design looks stiff to stand out stand out with exceptional functional performance.

The Cullinan’s Engineering Project Leader Caroline Krismer promises to upgrade the Magic Carpet Ride to be able to travel on all possible terrains and apply it to the Cullinan.
To achieve this, the SUV needs a self-leveling air suspension which significantly upgraded from the current Rolls-Royce air suspension. In the meantime, the larger air struts are in charge of cushioning the roughness of the off-road terrains while the front axle suspension layout receives a revolution in design. Plus, the Rolls-Royce SUV uses 22-inch wheels.

The automaker doesn’t hide their ambition to release a vehicle able to handle all terrains with no hard work; even base jumping, kite boarding, parascending, snowboarding, rock climbing, etc. should be no worries for the owners of this versatile vehicle.
