As to visual makeover, the NX300 looks more august thanks to a bigger spindle grille edged by new LED headlights, new aluminum front bumper and mesh grill highlights. The rear profile is re-profiled with larger tail pipes, tuned taillights and a new bumper, too.

Interior-wise, the cabin, apparently, receives minor refinements. The most outstanding update concentrates on the infotainment system which is pampered with a massive 10.3-inch touchscreen integrated with an app suite and a fully-functioning satellite navigation system. As well as that, the touchpad controller has taken the place of the old rotary knob and buttons while the wireless charging tray is currently capable of holding larger phones. USB ports also bring in higher amperage for better charges.

Packing the new NX300 is still the 8AR-FTS 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged VVT-I engine delivering 235 PS between 4,800 – 5,600 rpm and 350 Nm of peak torque between 1,650 – 4,000 rpm. Transferring all that power to large numbers on the speedometer is a 6-speed automatic transmission working in tandem with an all-wheel drive system.

Despite the unaltered powerplant, the driving dynamics are significantly enhanced with several modifications to the suspension. Stabilizer bars, bushings and springs are also reworked for steady-state cornering and better turn-in responses. Meanwhile, the dampers enables driver to enjoy heightened levels of handling and comfort. Particularly, worth noting here is the Adaptive Variable Suspension found in the Lexus LC 500 that betokens better control and overall handling stability than ever.
